Our first of four sessions partnered with HumanEYES on Galiano begins tomorrow!
HumanEYES is a program organized through "Access to Media". Led by Deblehka Guin, founder of Access to Media and a parent in our Galiano community, this year's program will continue to explore our academic theme of peace by focusing on this idea: "me to we - exploring our 'piece' of the peace puzzle". Our four sessions will include writing, interviewing and poetry (focus on literary devices and creative writing); group work (focus on cooperation and communication); and digital citizenship (how our individual values can change online culture). Our last session is a celebration and presentation of our projects. For more information on our program for Term 3 check out this page: oimyprogram.blogspot.ca/p/humaneyes.html

Saturna Adventures
Here are some pictures of our crew working together and solving problems (that required a lot of strategy!) to complete challenges set by our Saturna Island "Environmentors"on Wednesday, April 9th! What a great way to see how the SEEC program works and learn about a high school opportunity in our school district.
